Rule 150
Election of President

(1) Except as otherwise provided in this paragraph, the election of the chairman shall be held in every committee under this chapter on the day appointed by the chairman and the notice thereof shall be published forty-eight hours in advance by the secretary. To be elected, the notification of the proposal shall be given to the Secretary in the format as per Schedule-3. (3) After the proposing member submits the notification of the proposal as per sub-rule (2) to the committee, the supporting member shall support it. (4) If only one notification of the proposal is received as per sub-rule (2), the supporting member shall After speaking, the presiding member will immediately announce that the proposed member has been elected unopposed to the post of chairman. If more than one notification of the proposal is received, after each supporting member has spoken in the order of registration, there will be a general discussion on all the proposals and then the member presiding over the proposal will present the proposal to the committee respectively for decision. The member who will be made to pronounce the word "no" will be declared elected as the chairman. (6) According to sub-rule (4) after any of the proposals presented to the committee for decision is approved, the member proposed by that proposal will be deemed to have been elected as chairman. And the rest of the proposals will not be presented for decision. (7) The member who is the chairman of the committee will not have the right to vote. (9) In the absence of the chairman of the committee, the senior member present will chair the meeting of the committee. (10) If the senior member is nominated for the post of chairman, the next senior member present will chair the meeting of the committee. (11) VacanciesThe qualified member shall take the oath of office and secrecy before the chairman in the format as per Schedule-4. (12) In accordance with this paragraph, when electing the chairman, it shall be arranged that one third of the female members in the subject committee shall be elected as chairman. (13) Other procedures related to the election of the chairman of the committee shall be determined by the chairman. It will be according to
